Richard Lederer is the President and Chief Investment Officer of Lederer & Associates Investment Counsel, which he co-founded in 1986. Mr. Lederer was previously Vice President of Winrich Capital Management and Senior Investment Officer of Security Pacific National Bank. He has more than 45 years of investment management experience.

Mr. Lederer graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and attended the Graduate School of Business at San Diego State University. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Los Angeles. Mr. Lederer is a Founders Level member of the Community Hospital Long Beach Foundation. He served on the Board of Directors of Prager University Foundation, Musical Theatre West, and the Board of Governors at Long Beach City College. Mr. Lederer also participated in the Distinguished Speaker Program for the Marshall School of Business at USC.

Darin Bemis is a Portfolio Manager and Analyst. He is also the Trader and Chief Compliance Officer. Mr. Bemis has been with Lederer & Associates since 2000. He was previously an Investment Analyst with WM Advisors, Inc. He has over 27 years of industry experience.

Mr. Bemis is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Los Angeles.

Brian Byrne is the Operations Administrator. He is in charge of operations, administration and client services. Mr. Byrne joined Lederer & Associates in April 2013. He has worked in the industry for the past 24 years, including nine at Brandes Investment Partners and five at Nicholas Applegate Capital Management.

Mr. Byrne earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from California State University, Long Beach.
